Biography
John B. Cooper is Vice President of Global Government and Defense at AAR (NYSE: AIR), a leading aviation services provider to commercial airlines and governments worldwide.
Joining AAR in October 2019 as senior leadership, Cooper runs the strategic planning and execution for AAR’s rapidly growing government and defense sectors.
Prior to AAR, Cooper served 35 years in the U.S. Air Force, with his final assignment as the ranking General for Logistics, Engineering and Force Protection at the Pentagon. There, he oversaw and approved all policy for logistics, aircraft maintenance and supply chain management across the Air Force. He also built the budgets to support those efforts and advocated for funding to the U.S. Congress. He held several high-ranking leadership and Command positions throughout his career and participated in numerous contingency operations.
