The purpose of AAR’s Core Competencies is to create more visibility for the different tools the Company uses to foster growth and development. This removes ambiguity for employees about how to reach the next level in their career and provides managers with tools to have meaningful conversations with their employees. For example, the Core Competencies will provide employees with a better understanding as to:
  • Where each competency will be used in the talent functions
  • How the competency will be aligned at each job level in the organization
  • The definition of each competency
  • How each competency aligns with AAR’s values
