AAR Names Brian Sartain Senior Vice President, Repair and Engineering Services
Industry vet will work with customers on integrated aviation services solutions
WOOD DALE, Illinois, January 30, 2018 – Global aviation services leader AAR (NYSE: AIR) announces that Brian Sartain has joined AAR in the new position of Senior Vice President, Repair and Engineering Services, reporting to President and Chief Operating Officer John M. Holmes. In this senior leadership role, Sartain will oversee AAR’s MRO Services, Component Repair, Engineering Services, Landing Gear Services and Composites market solutions.
“Brian is an accomplished leader in the aviation industry. We are looking forward to the expertise and leadership he will bring to further integrating the breadth of repair and engineering services that AAR provides to customers across our global network,” said Holmes.
Sartain has more than 25 years of aerospace experience, most recently as Executive Vice President, Aerospace, with Chromalloy Gas Turbine, a global technology company providing integrated solutions for OEMs, commercial airlines, militaries and energy companies. Prior to Chromalloy, Sartain was Vice President, Business Development – Sensors & Integrated Systems at United Technologies Aerospace Systems (UTAS), and Vice President and General Manager of several businesses with the Goodrich Aerospace Corporation.

AAR awarded five-year P-8A Poseidon engine overhaul contract by U.S. Navy

This new award follows a recently announced award under which AAR will continue to perform P-8A airframe maintenance for the U.S. Navy.

AAR reports first quarter fiscal year 2025 results
Wood Dale, Illinois, September 23, 2024 — AAR CORP. (NYSE: AIR), a leading provider of aviation services to commercial and government operators, MROs, and OEMs, today reported first quarter fiscal year 2025 consolidated sales of $661.7 million and net income of $18.0 million, or $0.50 per diluted share. For the first quarter of the prior year, the Company reported sales of $549.7 million and a net loss of $0.6 million, or $0.02 per diluted share. Our adjusted diluted earnings per share in the first quarter of fiscal year 2025 were $0.85, compared to $0.78 in the first quarter of the prior year.

AAR awarded five-year contract to perform airframe maintenance for U.S. Navy’s P-8A Poseidon fleet

(NYSE: AIR), a leading provider of aviation services to commercial and government operators, MROs, and OEMs, has been awarded a five-year indefinite delivery / indefinite quantity contract with an aggregate ceiling value of approximately $1.2 billion by the U.S. Navy’s Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) to perform P-8A Poseidon depot airframe maintenance and depot field team support for the U.S. Navy, government of Australia, and foreign military sales (FMS) customers.
