John M. Holmes Promoted to President & Chief Operating Officer of AAR

AAR today announced that John M. Holmes was elected to President and Chief Operating Officer, AAR Corp., effective June 1, 2017. AAR’s Board of Directors also approved Holmes appointment to the Board, effective at its July 11, 2017 Board meeting. Holmes will continue to report to David P. Storch, AAR’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.

AAR CFO Timothy J. Romenesko Announces Plans to Retire After 36 Years of Service

Long-time Chief Financial Officer and Vice Chairman of AAR Corp. (NYSE: AIR), Timothy J. Romenesko, announced that he will retire effective December 31, 2017. Romenesko joined AAR in 1981 and performed various financial roles for several AAR operating units before being named Corporate Controller in 1991 and serving as CFO and Treasurer from 1994 to 2006.

AAR Elects General Duncan J. McNabb (ret.) to its Board of Directors

AAR announced today that General Duncan J. McNabb, U.S. Air Force (retired), was elected to the Company's Board of Directors at today’s quarterly Board meeting. McNabb served as Commander of the U.S. Air Mobility Command from 2005 to 2007 and Commander of the U.S. Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) from 2008 until his retirement from the Air Force in 2011.

AAR Amsterdam Ranked No. 1, Named Outstanding Component Repair Provider by NATO

AAR's Aircraft Component Repair facility in Amsterdam has been named “Outstanding Source of Repair” and ranked No. 1 among all Component Source of Repair (SOR) facilities for 2016 by the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) and the International Aerospace Management Company (IAMCO), which manages maintenance work for the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. AAR has received this prestigious recognition three times since 2005.

AAR Extends Supply Chain Solutions into New Product Line Via Agreement with ASL Aviation Holdings

AAR announces it has been awarded a multi-year component support contract from ASL Aviation Holdings. The new contract for power-by-the-hour support for ASL Group's airlines includes component support and repair for approximately 100 passenger and cargo aircraft, including ATR aircraft.

AAR Signs Landing Gear Overhaul Contract with SkyWest, Inc.

WOOD DALE, Illinois, February 6, 2017 – Global aerospace leader AAR (NYSE: AIR) has signed a three-year agreement to provide landing gear overhaul and exchange services for SkyWest, Inc.’s (NASDAQ: SKYW) operating carriers. The agreement, which covers landing gear assemblies and sub-assemblies on its fleet of more than 400 Bombardier CRJ aircraft, includes the option to extend to five years.
