Marcus Jadotte joined AAR in 2016 as Vice-President of Public Affairs. In this role, Jadotte leads the Company’s Washington, D.C. office and is responsible for creating strategic partnerships and deepening relationships with federal, state and local government officials.
Jadotte most recently served as the Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Industry and Analysis for the International Trade Administration. In that capacity, he was the chief liaison with U.S. industry and trade associations, and served as an advisor to the Secretary of Commerce on trade and investment policies impacting American competitiveness worldwide.
Prior to his position with the International Trade Administration, Jadotte was Vice President of Public Affairs and Multicultural Development for NASCAR. He was the first African American officer in NASCAR history where he led Drive for Diversity and Pit Crew Development Programs. Before his time at NASCAR, Marcus was Chief of Staff to two Members of Congress and served as a Special Assistant in President Clinton’s Labor Department.
In 2014, Savoy magazine named Marcus one of the “Top 100 Blacks in Corporate America.” Jadotte holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Florida State University.
