WOOD DALE, ILLINOIS (February 16, 2005) - AAR CORP. (NYSE: AIR) today announced that it has named Frederick L. Kocher the General Manager of AAR Aircraft Services - Indianapolis, the Company's recently established maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) facility located at the Indianapolis International Airport.

Kocher joins AAR with more than 30 years of leadership experience in aviation and aerospace, including senior-level positions with United Airlines (Avolar), Rolls-Royce and US Airways. Kocher served as Senior Vice President, Ground Operations for United Airlines (Avolar) and as Senior Vice President of Customer Support for Rolls-Royce North America, Inc. He spent nearly 25 years as a member of the leadership team at US Airways where his responsibilities included engineering, customer service, flight operations and aircraft maintenance operations.
