|AAR BROWN INTERNATIONAL NOW OPERATES AS
AAR INTEGRATED TECHNOLOGIES
New Name Better Reflects Innovative Product and Service Offerings under the AAR Brand.
The name change is part of AAR’s strategic integration and reinvention of the 25-year-old business that was acquired by AAR in April 2007 and previously operated as AAR Brown International. The new name reflects AAR’s focus on innovation and better conveys the business’ core competency of integrating of highly specialized communications equipment and technologies.
As Brown International, the business earned a reputation for engineering highly specialized Command, Control, Communications, Computer and Intelligence (C4I) Systems and Technical Services for defense customers. Today, AAR Integrated Technologies continues to innovate with mobile communications systems that range in size and complexity from portable devices to command and control centers.
“The time is right to adopt a new name that better reflects the capabilities we’ve become known for and AAR sharpens its focus on providing a wider variety of high-value services to government and defense customers,” said Vice-President and General Manager, Don Lustig. “The name change coincides also with internal improvements we’re making to the business to operate more efficiently and strengthen our service offerings in support of nation-building, peacekeeping, emergency services and humanitarian relief operations around the world.
AAR Integrated Technologies has a proven track record of providing and supporting C4I systems and Battlespace Command and Control Centers. In addition to a wide range of products, AAR Integrated Technologies also provides in-theater product and technical support and offers a well-trained, job-specific contingency workforce at a highly responsive rate, with personnel currently supporting platforms at military installations across the United States and Southwest Asia.
AAR is a leading provider of value-added products and services to the worldwide aerospace and government/defense industries. With facilities and sales locations around the world, AAR uses its close-to-the-customer business model to serve aviation and government/defense customers through four operating segments: Aviation Supply Chain; Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul; Structures and Systems; and Government and Defense Services.
