AAR SUPPLIES CARGO SYSTEMS TO ISRAEL AEROSPACE INDUSTRIES

WOOD DALE, ILLINOIS (December 1, 2010) — AAR’s Cargo Systems Division was selected by Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) to manufacture the main deck cargo loading systems for their B767-200 Multi-Mission Tanker Transport (MMTT) conversion program. IAI took delivery of an initial cargo loading system earlier this year and the first converted aircraft was recently re-delivered to the end-user.

In addition to the B767-200 MMTT, AAR has supplied IAI with cargo loading systems for their B767-200 and B767-300 passenger-to-freighter conversion programs. The cargo loading systems are manufactured at AAR’s state-of-the-art facility in Goldsboro, North Carolina.

Vin Misciagna, Vice President and General Manager of AAR Cargo Systems, said “We are very pleased to have been selected by IAI for both their military and commercial B767 conversion programs. We look forward to continuing to provide world-class, multi-platform conversion solutions for IAI and all our cargo customers.”
