Biography
Jeffrey N. Edwards, Partner and Vice Chairman of New Vernon Capital, was appointed to the AAR Board of Directors in 2024.
Mr. Edwards has more than 40 years of experience in the financial services sector.
As Partner and Vice Chairman of New Vernon Capital, Mr. Edwards prioritizes the firm’s clients, focusing on investment portfolios, operations, and business development. He previously served as the firm’s Chief Operating Officer.
Prior to New Vernon Capital, Mr. Edwards held various leadership positions throughout more than 20 years at Merrill Lynch & Co., including Vice Chairman and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Edwards began his career as a credit auditor at Chase Manhattan Bank.
In addition to serving on AAR’s Board, Mr. Edwards holds Board positions with Raymond James Financial, Inc. and American Water Works Company, Inc., both S&P 500 companies.
Mr. Edwards earned a bachelor’s with honors from Haverford College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
