of high-end sub-systems and precision machining, fabrication, welding and engineering services.
SUMMA provides engineering, manufacturing, and logistics support for aircraft, missile and space
vehicles, electronic defense systems, automotive tooling equipment and material handling racks.
With more than 450 engineering and manufacturing professionals working from three locations,
SUMMA's competence and responsiveness to customers' needs have contributed to its rapid growth.
SUMMA is experienced in manufacturing parts for key defense programs including the Space
Shuttle External Tank and Solid Rocket Boosters, the Tomahawk Cruise Missile and military
aircraft such as C-130, F-22, and F-35, the Container Roll-in/Out Platform (CROP) for the U.S.
Army and the AN/TSQ-73 Air Defense Command and Control System.
Missile Systems SUMMA Technology manufactures wings, capsules, canisters, and major structural assemblies
for major missile systems. SUMMA also provides refurbishment for missile components.
Air Defense Systems SUMMA produces machined parts for several air defense systems including gun cradle assemblies
and targeting systems, manufactures pallets for missile round pallet systems and supports air Defense Command and Control Systems.
Ground Systems SUMMA provides machined parts for Containerized Roll-in/out Pallets and for a variety of
ground vehicles including the Amphibious Fighting Vehicle. |
