Steve Harrison, President
Mr. Harrison has served as President of AAR Airlift Group since 2015. Mr. Harrison joined AAR in 2012 as Chief Commercial Officer and led the company’s business development strategy and operations to double the company’s customer base. Mr. Harrison retired as a Colonel after 22 years in the United States Air Force culminating in Deputy Director for Operational Logistics, Joint Staff J4. Notable commands included the 89th Airlift Wing at Andrews AFB, Maryland; the 436th Airlift Wing at Dover AFB, Delaware; and expeditionary airlift squadrons and groups in support of operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. A distinguished graduate of the US Air Force Academy, Mr. Harrison earned a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Engineering, and as a Rhodes Scholar, Master’s Degrees in Engineering Science; and Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from Oxford University. Prior to joining AAR Airlift Group, Mr. Harrison served as President and CEO of National Airlines, a Part 121 international carrier providing both passenger and cargo services.
Jeff Wehrenberg, Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Wehrenberg guides the operational performance of all aspects of the Airlift organization, including domestic and overseas operations, regulatory compliance, and safety and quality assurance. Mr. Wehrenberg has extensive management experience with airlines servicing the domestic commuter market, US DOD, and allied forces worldwide. Mr. Wehrenberg attended the University of Wisconsin, Memphis State, Mississippi State University, and the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. Prior to joining AAR, Mr. Wehrenberg served as Senior Vice President and COO with North American Airlines, operating on behalf of the United States Transportation Command.
Brooks Bash, Chief Commercial Officer
Mr. Bash serves a Chief Commercial Officer for AAR Airlift Group, leading the company’s strategic marketing, business development, fleet planning, program management, and market diversification operations. Mr. Bash has a distinguished 34-year career with the U.S. Air Force (Lieutenant General retired), most recently serving as Vice Commander, Air Mobility Command, responsible for the U.S. Air Force’s air mobility strategic transportation mission with a fleet of over 1,160 aircraft. He has been an operational commander at the squadron, group, wing, and task force levels and served as Deputy Executive Secretary for the National Security Council in the Executive Office of the President under two administrations. He is a highly decorated officer, a combat-experienced commander, and pilot with over 7000 hours of flight time.
