Biography
Salvatore J. Marino currently serves as Senior Vice President, Parts Supply for AAR (NYSE:AIR), a leading provider of aftermarket aviation services worldwide.
Marino leads the strategic direction of the industry’s largest supplier of aircraft and engine components, as well as inventory management services overseeing all aspects of operational and financial performance. Additionally, he is responsible for the initiatives on developing new niche markets.
Marino has over 25 years of aviation experience, spending time with both Trans World Express and American Eagle prior to joining AAR Aircraft Turbine Center in 1994. He was promoted to Vice President of GE Engine Products in 1999. In 2005, Marino was promoted to Vice President of AAR Aircraft Turbine Center with responsibilities of handling all commercial engine product which included part sales, inventory management programs, engine leasing, and ultimately P&L responsibility. In 2014, he was promoted to Vice President of AAR’s Airframe and Engine Trading group. Marino was named to his current position of Senior Vice President, Parts Supply and became a corporate officer in 2017.
Marino holds an AAS in Aviation Flight, BS in Aviation Management, as well as holds a commercial instrument and multi-pilot instrument rating.
