Kathleen Cantillon is Vice-President of Strategic Communications for AAR, a global provider of aftermarket aviation services headquartered in Chicago. A seasoned communications and brand strategist, Cantillon has 25 years of experience in corporate communications and public affairs, with expertise in transportation.
Since joining AAR in 2014, Cantillon has developed communications strategies and vehicles to enhance the corporate reputation and support the business goals for all of AAR’s market solutions, including the Company’s operations across the globe. Her responsibilities include branding, digital communications, investor and media relations, advertising, marketing communications and diversity.
Before joining AAR, Cantillon was Managing Director at ASGK Public Strategies, which was founded by political strategist David Axelrod. Prior to ASGK, Cantillon served as Director of Communications for Exelon, and ran communications at the Illinois Tollway and Amtrak. She also was a Vice President at Edelman Public Relations.
Cantillon has a bachelor’s degree from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University and a Master’s degree from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. She serves on the Board of Posse Foundation Chicago.
